Stained ready are horrible. The middle part does not take the color.

I love this door, good quality

I've been searching for months for a door to fit my 28 x 80 closet-turned-pantry opening. I was quoted $900 for a custom door to fit the space. I stumbled on this and couldn't pass it up, especially for $200. I installed it myself in an hour. I'm not a fan of the traditional look as I prefer mid century but I still think it looks good. I will splurge on an interesting knob.

The door itself is a good, solid wood door. Unfortunately, when we received this folding door, we discovered it was assembled incorrectly. One half of the door faced forward and the other half of the door tacked backwards and was mounted upside down. We had to disassemble and correctly re-assemble, then fill the incorrect holes with paintable wood putty before we could paint and install the door. I would recommend this door but make sure it has been assembled correctly before installing.
