I did not end up keeping this item but for what it does, it works perfectly. My wife preferred to use a grate on the garbage disposal side so having this stopper was more of a hindrance vs a help. The item is well constructed and does what it’s designed to do. The only reason I opted to return was personal preference of the grate over the cover.

This really works. No more damaged spoons or trying to fish things out of the disposal, yet all the food scraps while doing the dishes go through easily. Taking it off to use the disposal or for cleaning is easy and I love that you can close it if you want to fill the sink with water.

I really like the idea of this product. When open sits higher than the sink bottom. Seems like an easy fix for a this product. It fit flush with or Badger disposal but when we bought a Power model it’s no longer flush

The product performs as intended by the manufacturer and is unique in the way it works. You'll only need one stopper on your Insinkerator and this is it. Makes you wonder why they don't supply this as a standard when you buy the garbage disposal unit?

Had one just like this for years - even kept it when changed disposals rather than the plastic one that came with new disposal. I like it as lets water drain, but, keeps things from getting in disposal.
