I'm looking forward to getting this unit installed, but at the moment it has proved to be problematic for installing at our home. Tried to do it myself, but the setup is a bit challenging. A plumber came out and said the way our main water pipe comes into the house, we are going to need to reroute the pipes to find a suitable place to store these fairly large tanks. So I would recommend that you carefully look at your main water supply line where it comes into your house and make sure you measure the space and area where these pipes are located. Hopefully it will be an easier installation for you. Will update this review once the installation is completed.

I was really excited for this filtration system, as I have hard water and am really sick of my hair feeling dry all the time. Reading the description and comments, I kind of figured my husband would be able to install this himself. He’s a pretty handy guy, but he unfortunately isn’t able to do the work himself. One of the things I was most excited for was that he could do it, and Initially he figured he would be able to. This filter is larger than I expected, so it just doesn’t fit easily enough in our space in order for him to do the piping. Will update when we get it installed. It seems heavy duty and the parts seem well made by what we can tell at this time.

This product is far more substantial than anticipated. It arrived very well packaged and is heavy duty. I can not comment on function yet as it has not been installed. However, based on the components I anticipate it to fully function beyond expectation. I highly recommend this item.
