It's a great bath, BUT it has a very scratchy non-slip finish on the bottom. Who the heck wants to sit in a soaking tub with sandpaper on your tender parts???!!! How STUPID. And for $4,000+ big ones, I'm very displeased. Edited -- Gave it 2 more stars, as it really IS an awesome bath. Apparently, this is by US law that all cast steel tubs must have this non-slip finish. I phoned Kaldewei and they sent me a special stone to rub off the finish a bit. You don't notice it so much when it's full of water, too.
