Not a good quality grab bar. It is not tight after being installed, it is loose not where the brackets are screwed in but at the pieces where the bar is attached to the flange. I would guess that it will break off when pulled on in the near future. like many people in a remodel it didn't get installed before the return expired. I would have bought local where I have a longer return date but could find it.

This is a reasonable product IF you are handy - it comes with NO instructions - download the specifications for installation measurements -The soap dish is reversible IF you gently but firmly pull it out of the current holes and then evenly and gently and firmly push the posts into the second position holes. Note- there are no plugs for the holes that are not used- but they are a sealed unit so the water will not get into the bar. The screws and plugs for the wall installation they sent are itty bitty - We did find a better length and anchoring approach -in my own opinion- 1 inch of screw will not hold the weight that they profess can be held by this bar. The bar itself is solid and feels reliable - the brushed nickel is as described and the size is not 8 inches total - it is 18 inches total length - with approximately 8 inches for each segment of the grab bar- Keeney support was EXCELLENT to help me work through my questions. it will be important to keep the label on the packaging to get customer support for the correct item number.
