The product comes with a big sticker on the front that says it isn't to be used for heat when the outside temperature is below 43 degrees. The shipping was really fast though. Unfortunately I returned the item.

This unit has heat and cool functions. It is very quiet and can be controlled via the app including an auto setting with a set temp, making it very convenient to use/ turn off remotely. Good investment!

Ordered product, delivered on time, outside packaging was intact. Put it aside until we had a few hours to install. Opened the box and the outside Midea box was damaged and so was the AC unit. When you plug the AC unit in, it makes a constant clicking sound. Can not be returned because it is outside of 30 days. Clever way of covering up a damaged product and shipping it out.

This window unit works great. The a/c blows cold. I have to cover up at times. The supplemental heat shuts off if it's under 43 degrees outside. I didn't take the time to read that before ordering. The a/c alone is worth purchasing this unit.
