I'm in texas and it's very humid here so our house does get alot of humidity. I swt this on a timer and go about my day. It's really quiet so most days I don't even notice when it's running. I have a decent sized basement that tends to have a musty odor due to the dampness but after trying this humidifier out after a day, the air feels dryer, cleaner and balanced. It’s fairly quiet and manual and set up was easy to understand and effortless.
