When I turned the fan on it was not too humid but it's also early in the day. Towards the afternoon when it is hotter the humidity will go up. The air coming out of it is really strong and nice on both low and high. The filter and water bucket areas are easy to get to. The cold air is nice because this room gets very hot due to non insulated windows. Very nice de humidifier
