I got this grab bar to mount just outside my shower so I would have something strong to hold on to as I step out of a slippery wet shower. It is a good size and seems very sturdy. The cover plates slide out of the way on to the bar to allow access to the mounting plate. Even though it comes with a variety of mounting hardware and anchors, I would only mount this with the screws going into studs, for safety’s sake.

I love the look of this grab bar. It’s contemporary and very solidly made. So much nicer than the old people medical look.
