Funny story. I purchased this grab bar to install horizontally in our new bathtub. I didn't take into consideration that with the style of the new tub, a horizontal position would really be in the way. I decided to hang it vertically on the wall instead next to where you enter and it looks great and works well in that position. Nice solid item.

Substantial not flimsy. Perfect fit for both my husband (big hands) and me (small hands)

Beautiful grab bars! They will be a nice addition to the bathroom for safety sake. I was concerned about how they would like but they are very nice and nonintrusive.

Looks good in the shower. Seems sturdy.
