I understood universal to mean what one would expect re rough-in valves. Turns out it has a unique meaning in the plumbing world. Only universal for products with the same brand. My mistake. Plumber cant use the item without a matching valve, which is not recommended or readily available apparently. Reno project delayed past time allowed for return. Thought I would try to plead my case as a return customer. Telephone help number says after hours, call during business hours at 5 pm EASTERN time on a Thursday. Link to return policy on web site is dead. Misleading info about service available. Very frustrating. Zero stars is not an option. Must give one to submit complaint.
