I bought this faucet with the specific intent that it was easy to turn on and OFF in my 13 YO son's bathroom... so they don't drip. He's only been using the bathroom for a few weeks, but so far, they're OFF every time I walk in and check. The matte black is true and matches the rest of the hardware. I can't speak to installation as I had a plumber do it.
