4222 Update This was moved to our windowless bathroom. The built in one is full of dust. Awesome! It circulates the air nicely and no smell left. I was using sprays but no great for pets. This worked especially good in this small space. So back to 5 stars.. I was skeptical but this little thing made the air noticeably cleaner in a short time. I run a large one in the LR and a smaller one box style in a bedroom. It only blows air from the front and its offside. This one is smartly designed in a column. Pulls air in all around and it comes out the top. It has venetian blind style to direct air in 2 directions at air flow you choose. This is a nice change from speeds only blowing 1 direction. I did add some calming oil to the little slot. It has a little thick pad. I wasnt able to really notice the smell. I may have to add more to it but better to start small. But without a water source blowing thru, just air isnt that effective so I dont recommend using really expensive blends like Thieves here and expecting a room full of scent. This is in the bathroom because the tiny ancient fan in the wall just blows dusty air and this is nice because San Diego is dusty, especially in town. And tons of pollen. On a down side I looked up the replacement filter cost and its pretty hefty at the moment but may be found elsewhere cheaper in time. I like to buy at least 1 replacement with the unit so Im ready. You can use a hand vac or hose attachment to keep it cleaner longer. Because of the high filter cost Im going to say check when you are looking to buy at that time. But I think there are similar price point units with cheaper up keep. So just for that is 3 stars otherwise the unit itself gets 4 as it does what it says it does except the scent.

This purifier is loud, even on the lowest setting. I do feel that it is working, and I am unsure about the blue light. I believe it is a UV light and there isn't really way I can tell if that is doing anything, or it is just a pretty blue light. It will be fine in a room where you aren't distracted by the noise. I like that I am able to purchase filters for it from other retails and not the brand of purifier who made it. So far, I haven't had any trouble and I am hoping it will last awhile.

I put this in my bedroom to see if it helped with my allergies. I am SO pleased to say I can actually breathe through my nose in the morning! It's quiet and the timer is a nice feature as well. Not sure how I lived without it!!

This air purifier may be small but it works like a larger unit! Helps me keep up with the dust and pet hair! Has a little tray for essential oils and the air smells so fresh! The control panel is easy to use and there are multiple fan settings. There is also a timer you can set to have it run for a fixed amount of time, 8,12,or 24 hours. Very quiet and would work well in an office or anywhere in your home.

This Air Purifier is better then I imagined it works great!
