This was definitely the correct part that I needed for replacing the old broken one. Too bad it cost so much, but I guess it could have been worse, since I couldn't find it anywhere else. Instructions would have been helpful, but I figured it out.

This part came with my new hydrorail 3 in 1 shower and immediately after one week of use, it no longer holds the shower wand at any angle besides balancing upright or falling down. It's barely been adjusted since installation and it is already loose after one week.

Several months ago, I remodeled the master bathroom with Composed faucets, shower heads, towel bars, grab bars, etc. in the titanium finish. The slider assembly keeps coming loose and will not permit the handheld showerhead to be adjusted to various positions while showering. I can only tighten it to a single position and have to keep it there for the duration of the shower. Other manufacturers (Delta) have an adjustable feature that can be used while showering. Does Kohler have a fix for this problem? I don't want to have to take a screwdriver with me every time I shower.
