The material is sturdy and it is great to match with other Kohler products for the color but I don’t think it’s worth the price. Consider your ceiling height and how much clearance you have if you’re tall and if you can reach. It can be an issue if you have shower doors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I had better photos to post because this is a beautiful product, and I am already replanning my bathroom renovation with the size of this towel rack in mind. I was worried at first about the matte black, because I’ve touched matte black handles and racks before that have a terrible gritty and hollow feeling and it’s like touching a chalkboard. This is NOT that! It’s so smooth, the finish is perfect and the black is a true black with a matte finish so it isn’t overwhelmingly black like a shiny or satin finish could be. I love the size of this rack, however I wasn’t aware at first how big it would be depth wise, unfortunately where I first mounted it (like in the photo) it is a hazard, so I have removed it and am planning a whole new design because I really love it so much I’m switching all of my hardware to matte black Kohler handles, and I’m determined to make this piece fit, it’s so nice in place of having a big standing towel tower, I can hang 4 towels and there’s still space on top like a shelf. Overall, Kohler has nailed it with the matte black finish. This is what I always wanted when I purchased black hardware and now I know exactly where to look for my bathroom and kitchen hardwares.
