The grab bar is very study. It would have a 5 except for the flange. It is poor quality. It needed silicone to secure it and keep it from spinning around an rattling.

Although it is a Kohler product the grab bars are not as strong as I hoped they would be.

The grab bar is black which coordinates with the other grab bars in the bathroom. This is important to me because I want the items to be clearly accessible when an accident is about to happen. It is on the ramp to the open shower we selected.
