Beautiful sink. Shipper (UPS at our end) must have chucked it on its end, as inner and outer carton were slightly crushed. One corner of the sink's edge was slightly bent. We've decided to keep it, and my husband will either use a clamp or a rubber mallet on the slight irregularity. Silicone sealant will likely take care of it. Noticing that the exterior seems to be "only" sleek stainless, I called Kohler in Wisconsin. The woman looked into it and assured me that the construction of the sink has a sound reduction technology within the metal. She assured me this is a usual thing for this unit. Interior is exquisite burnished stainless, and beautifully contoured. The flat surface at the upper edges has a slightly rougher texture. This will undoubtedly smooth over time. Shipping something like this is by definition problematic.
