I built a new home and this trim kit was selected for the guest shower. Since day one had nothing but problems with the handle falling off. It is held on with a set screw and over the period of a few uses it will work itself loose and fall off. I look at this many times and even used Lock-tite on the set screw and it still fell off. Even though it was under warranty Kohler would not stand behind it and I had to buy a different trim kit compatible with the valve.
