This is the dumbest accessory you can buy. When something breaks, and it will break, I hope you have another shower to use while you wait for another expensive part to be delivered. We have had this for six months since moving into our home, and it has not gotten to the set temperature (anything over 100 degrees) yet. We have simply disconnected the rain outlet because it’s a continuous leak of cool water until about 15 minutes after the shower is turned off. Bottom line: you are MUCH better off with a shower that has handles to control the temperature. The components will break, and if there is ever an electrical outage, the shower simply won’t turn on and off. Save yourself the headache and the wasted money.

I did have to have a plumber and an electrician install this and my plumber did have to call his kohler rep for help. You need WiFi near the unit also. But it works great. I wish I could have it on all of my faucets. I love having the temperature be exactly what I want every time! And each user can have their own settings. Highly recommend.

I have spent over $20,000 installing this system to make the dream shower. 2 6 valve controllers, speakers, everything that DTV+ was all about. I've had this system for about 5 years and every single port of the 12 valved has completely failed. Initially Kohler sent me replacement solenoid but they failed as well. What Kohler doesn't want you to know is that they have designed a product that faulty and guaranteed to fail, they know that the failure rate on these is 100%, they know its defective by design and they continue to shamelessly to sell you this stuff even now knowing well that anyone who buys it will have to buy a new system, spend another massive amount of money and throw away this defective by design product. Shame on you Kohler, you were once a brand that was a symbol of quality, sad, very sad.
