I had been searching for a replacement lever for my mother’s Kohler toilet for a few months. I had stopped at a few plumbing stores and asked for the right parts twice, but none of them worked. Finally I got the model number from the inside of the toilet tank and sent an email to Kohler asking for the right part. They answered and I ordered accordingly. The part was perfect and installed very easily. Thank you Kohler!

This trip lever works exceptionally well. I see many reviews, though, with people saying that the nut cannot be threaded onto the lever. IMPORTANT: TRIP LEVER NUTS ARE REVERSE THREADED! All of the toilet trip levers that I've ever installed (including this one) have reverse threaded nuts, so you tighten them counter-clockwise. I'm surprised that these instructions are not written on the package or addressed by Kohler's support staff commenting on these reviews. If you install/tighten the nut counter-clockwise, it is incredibly quick and easy to install a new trip lever.
