Seems strong and sturdy and should fit perfectly when the time comes to actually use it.

If you experience random, short-duration activations of your Kohler toilet's fill valve, this part will likely put an end to that. It is accompanied with clear instructions. It's even possible to deviate from the instructions slightly to avoid completely disconnecting and removing the flush cannister from the toilet, before replacing the existing gasket. The replacement gasket can be red or yellow, and will easily slip into the groove provided to hold it in place on the bottom of the cannister. The same cannister and gasket are used in toilets that have 2" flushways and those that have 3" ones, as well.

I tried cheap imitations of the tubber seal and they all failed to stop the slow leak. Once I used the genuine Kohler gasket the problem was solved!

Performs as advertised. It was also very easy to install. Couldn't be happier.

I had to buy a replacement seal after the original seal failed within a year.
