Replaced Original from 2004. Valve froze. Originally I thought I would have to replace the whole unit with a retrofit kit. The problem with the retrofit kit is the locking plate for under the sink "hits" the underside of the Kohler sink making it difficult to tighten. Wish they would have made this smaller or not quite as wide. This securing system replaced what once just was a large brass nut from the original installation. I was able to remove the valve from the body using a vice and an impact driver. I was not sure it would work as it didn't on a previous repair in another bathroom. So I am happy I was able to fix this one. It should be noted that perhaps the Kohler sink itself has since changed dimensions or the mounting holes in the granite countertop where not properly located or maybe even the sink cutout was a little off. Hard to say from 2004. Kohler service is great as they honored there lifetime commitment. Have Kohler throughout entire house and they still look great after 22 years!

I purchased the cold ceramic valve to stop a leak i was experiencing with my discontinued Revival series centerset bathroom sink faucet handle on 4 of my units. The part was easy to replace and fixed the issue immediately. It is a perfect DIY job for anyone with minimal tool experience. Also purchased the hot side as well and the faucets work like new. I was happy to not need to replace them.

Works as expected no more leaky cold water valve!!
