This review really needs to be split but I see no way to do that. The shopping, ordering, delivery, and customer service after the fact all get 5 stars easy! The vanity itself, if it had been in perfect condition, WOULD have been 5 stars. Exactly what I hoped/wanted it to be. Looks great. However... it was damaged. And clearly not damaged by shipping. The exterior most cardboard was pristine. Not a scratch on it. This either happened in a warehouse before getting packaged, or more likely from what I can tell, happened at the manufacturer and they sold it anyways. The front drawer façade, just below the sink, was partially detached. The paint along several seems was cracked and chipped. My installer fixed the façade. And the paint can obviously be touched up. But the real killer was the countertop. On the top, between the sink and the front edge, it looks like the surface has been permanently stained or etched. My installer even tried light sanding. Didn't work. This is damage that can't be fixed. Unfortunately the countertop damage wasn't identified until after installation. That plus I was in desperate need to have it installed due to a bad back and the previous counter being too low for me to use. So for all of those reasons, I'd rate 1 star for the quality of the vanity. However, back to 5 stars for the customer service. Submitting the fact that the item was damaged and getting a reasonably decent refund was super easy and completely hassle free. The refund was sufficient to make me consider using Wayfair again in future. But only once more and with great caution for anything that requires paid installation. For anything that doesn't require installation I'd likely order with confidence given my customer service experience.
