It's great. Went in super easy. I just read the other reviews and they clearly didn't take a seconds to figure out that the ugly clips are for shipping and the actual clips that hold the screen or glass in just slip in if you take a moment to look at it. The two reviews that I looked at do not represent the door accurately. It's very nice.

The actual door looks great. The issue was inserting the glass/screen. The instructions are sketchy about this. It is logically the last thing you do after installing the frame and all the work that goes with that; the door goes in and lastly the window/screen. On this door - it was not in the installation instructions - there are 2 pieces of plastic stripping that is meant to secure/hold the glass/screen in place. My skilled contractor could not figure it out and after much looking I still cannot find anything about this in instructions. I had to get on YouTUBE to figure this out. There was a video that showed how to do this. The person who made the video also stated that instructions needed to be UPDATED to clearly show this. It still took my contractor an hour to do this. Imagine a senior citizen wanting to change the screen to the glass - they would have to call in help $$. It feels flimsy on an $800 door to have ONLY 2 pieces of plastic holding in the glass. No clips or any such thing to make it 100 % SECURE. I regret not getting the Protection Plan because I fear one inadvertent push on the glass - it will dislodge, shatter and I am screwed! SO - it looks great but is it safe and secure? I SURE HOPE SO because it's installed !

Bought this as our dogs constantly tear up the screen on our old door when we get home and the display had this with no screen and only glass. Got home. It has a full size screen and cheap doesn't even begin to describe it. No big deal, we'll remove it. Nope. Can't. The glass is held in place with the screen frame and ugly yellow clips on a white door. Remove the clips, everything falls out. No retainers, no locking pins. Just enough screws so they could save a penny per door and two broke installing, so another 30 minute each way trip to the hardware store for a dollar in screws. NEVER buying another Larson ever again if they actually think this is quality. I can see what they think of their customers.

We loved our door when it was first installed. Unfortunately, over a period of four years the aluminum frame is horribly corroded along the entire bottom of the door, both inside and out. What a shame for such an expensive door.

I'm not impressed with this one. Larson does make some good doors, but this model is not one of them. My door arrived with multiple missing parts, and some parts were actually cracked. The retaining system is a pain, more so than most, and has no way to keep the screen straight in the opening. It works fine for the glass because the glass is ridgid and can't move, but the screen lacks the structural strength, and since the retaining system doesn't catch the edge of it, the screen isn't pulled tight.
