larson split storm door one of edges for hanging door was bent and hinge stretched

had about 8 months and screen will not retract only used about 4 or 5 times

The retractable window/screen latch tab broke off on white tradewinds door. I would like to replace the piece but cannot locate it. Any assistance

I about the Larson Tradewinds retractable screen storm door not too long ago and after a few uses of the retractable screen, the screen came loose. The next time I tried to use the screen, there was pop and it would work. Can even close the screen so Im left with a open area. Great looking door but poor poor poor quality

Had door installed this last month. Worked great for a couple of weeks. Then the upper spring assembly self destructed and the screen came crashing down. Took the spring cassette cover off to inspect. The left black plastic spring retainer had come dislodged and allowed the spring to instantly and catastrophically unwind. Played with it for awhile to figure out how to roll up the screen and then wind up the spring and then reinsert mechanism back in place. Took several attempts to finally get working without the spring unwinding again. The left hand side cheap plastic retainer easily comes dislodged and allows the spring to unwind. Can’t get enough tension on spring to hold the screen open at desired levels like in the beginning. Have to live with either fully closed or fully open. In reading the other reviews, this is not an isolated occurrence. I do not recommend this door because of the screen mechanism. Buyer beware.
