In many ways Larson makes a great product with helpful features like a pull down screen. The plastic part that holds that in place is not that sturdy and fails to work over time. Surprise, your warranty does not cover parts. What else is there to the door besides parts?

I've had nothing but trouble with this door, the hinges are a SQUEAK FEST. I sprayed in multiple types of lubricants on the hinges, and it keeps quiet for a bit but after using the door, the SQUEAKS come right back. The door closer I had to replace already twice in 2 years. The first one was under warranty and the second I had to pay for another one even though this door is supposed to have a 5-year warranty, yea right, read the fine print. An overpriced piece of junk this door is unless you love hearing SQUEAKS.

I’ve put up two new doors in two years and although they operate just fine, the white door turns yellow cuz of the sun.
