Photos are just my loose-fit calculations. Just to give you an idea. I offset the sq ft tile to give a mental-impression of smaller tiles for a smaller room. A few tiles were imperfect. I can try to use parts of those tiles. This is my First experience using sticky-tiles. Reflooring my RV. Couldn’t ask for a more challenging job. Removed old vinyl flooring, which blew-out after first Winter, and was completely useless. I’m half-way done and realizing I should have used a sealant on the OSB, as slivers and bit’s really prevent perfect contact. Nobody I know has even challenged this job. I certainly can you some give advice after this job is finished! 1. Seal bare sub-floor with varnish, paint, etc. Any product that’ll hold down the OSB. 2. Cut away old edging. Buy your own. This old-stuff is cheap. Even “thinking” of putting your new flooring under old edging is a stupid headache you don’t want. It’s old and useless to you. A beautiful, easy edge is achievable and your new edging will accentuate your new floor. Use the chaulk-line method they suggest to start your lay-out. Doorways are out of Square. Don’t depend on your first row to be square. 4. Buy easily cut-able tile. The nooks and crannies will drive you insane! You must be patient enough to cut those tiles around everything, if you want a good job. If you have no patience, don’t start. 5.
