Looks great, steps are a little wobbly.

It was a huge hassel to put together. Missing pilot holes on the steps. I had to measure them out and drill the pilot holes myself to ensure they would be simlar. The screws to attach legs to seat and stabilizer bars were extremely hard to screw in. After finally getting it put together it seems sturdy. All in all, if I had shopped around more I would go with a different manufacturer.

It would have been so helpful if the holes that receive screws had been marked and maybe even started. But instead, this becomes a 2 person job because you have to measure, mark and hold. Also, when the step is folded under, the brass hardware shows and always shows from the sides, therefore, I turn the ladder around when not in use so it’s more attractive. It would have been so much nicer if the hardware was black & matte finish so it would blend in. In the past, we’ve ordered rugs from Wayfair, which are beautiful & wear well. This is our 2nd furniture purchase & once again, have found out that “you get what you pay for” On a positive note, the stepladder works, so that’s good!

The bench ladder is good, looks easy to do but without the help of husband it would have been impossible for me alone. You need to assemble everything and do the maths to know where to pre-bore and place the screws. It was a lot of work instructions are very frugal. It’s a sort of a guess game and you need an electric screw machine the wood is really hard. The legs need pads on them to avoid scratches on your floor. It looks nice now, but it takes time to figure out everything. Please place long pole in place before you firmly adjust the 2 final major screws to the construction.
