It is strong wood but not properly fitted for an elongated toilet. The seat isn’t fully operational because it doesn’t open properly and it never rest on the back of the toilet.

Again, all I can say is thanks Brian! It was great dealing with someone that takes the time, from start to finish, to make sure that I was ordering exactly what I wanted. It was a pure pleasure compared to some of the salespeople that I have dealt with on the phone. I will be calling Wayfair again.

It is a very solidly built, heavy potty seat. Not a whole lot can go wrong and it seems to be doing its job just fine.

Nice, sturdy, comfortable design. I do wish that the pieces that connect the lid to the seat were sturdier. They are just a hard resin/plastic material. The first seat I ordered arrived with these pieces broken clean through, however, customer service was AMAZING and they rushed out a replacement the same day!
