The mirror itself is very nice looking. I surface mounted it and It certainly serves it's purpose. The mirror is heavy for sure. At this price point the box is not solid wood. I actually wish it was more expensive with a sold wood box. There is no templet provided for determining where the screw holes should go so I took the mirror off to make the box much more manageable to hold on the wall and mark the holes. The hardware they give you is junk so if mounting onto drywall have your own quality hardware. The metal tabs that support the shelf I found very difficult to pull out of the holes to reposition, I needed plyers to do this. When I did get them out, on some, the black finish around the hole chipped off so I'll need to touch that up. For the money it's a decent cabinet and I'm sure all of them in this price range will be manufactured somewhat the same.

I ordered 2 medicine cabinets and both of them arrived with broken mirrors. The boxes were clearly labeled as fragile, but there was only a <1" piece of styrofoam protecting the bulk of the mirror and I'm sure damage happened during shipment. The return process was fairly easy (I am still waiting for the returned items to be received by the manufacturer in order to receive my refund), but the actual return process was straight forward. I was told I would receive expedited shipping on the replacement items, but when I never received confirmation of shipping 3 days later, I checked and the replacement mirrors were marked on backorder with an anticipated arrival date in nearly 2 months! Sadly, that timeframe is unacceptable, and I had to cancel my order altogether. If I had been able to receive them in one piece, I'm sure I would have loved them. Very disappointing.

Love the curved mirror, just adds the perfect touch to the bathroom.

I don't love this item. While it looks nice enough from the front while viewing the mirror, when you open it, there's no overhang or lip around the actual medicine cabinet. You have to create a small frame for it not to look unsightly in the wall. If you don't, it looks like you just cut a hole in your wall and stuck a white box inside.
