Have used for 2 nights during the hottest part of Sept 2026 in deep South Texas. Worked very well, cooling a bedroom approx 150 sq ft in size. I liked it has mechanical knobs, no electronics. Works very well as a backup cooling system (when power goes out and is used with a generator or main AC breaks down). It has very low Amp draw and can be powered with a small generator.

Just bought one, easy to install. Cools the room quite well.

Worked one summer and 3 months. Only used at night in the tiny room (approx 100sf) in a 3 bedroom trailor. Fan works on low but nothing on high. Compressor will not come on. I chose the manual over the digital thinking there would be less of a chance for it to break down. Wasn't I a dummy!

Stopped working in 2 days. Very small room. Why???

I bought the 10,000 BTU window air conditioner in April 2026. This morning when I gotup, the air was off. I checked the electrical panel. All was good. I even tried another receptical to no avail! I find it extremely hard to believe this quit working after just 2 months. I also have a Media 5,000 BTU which is still running perfectly. So sad that I purchased the 10,000 BTU!
