Found the part number off the Moen site and found the part cheaper here on Ebay with this company. Saved me a lot of $$$$ and problems. Had I called a plumber they would have wanted me to purchase a whole new spout and as well pay their outrages labor fees.

Still not working at 100%.

I found this kit to be much less than satisfactory. It's definitely not equivalent to the factory installed part and didn't seem to help my situation at all as the water didn't get diverted any better than before replacement due to the nylon diverter being too far away from where it needed to seal. In fact, thinking it might be better, I then purchased a third party kit to find it seemed identical to that which I purchased from here. I ended up removing the entire Tub Spout, cleaned it thoroughly and removed all of the scale build up that I could. I also placed a nylon washer under the nylon diverter to move the diverter closer to where it needed to be to achieve a better seal. It's working, but could be so much better and I certainly believe a factory made identical part would get me much closer to what is needed. I'm considering purchasing a replacement tub spout, but have seen others suggesting that the internals are not complete and must be taken from the old tub spout and that the diverter does not work any better than what my cobbled solution manages. Does anyone know if this is truly the case or if purchasing a new tub spout (part #3806) is a factory original with all components, including a proper diverter?
