I've recently just installed this but so far so good.

Shower knobs works much better now after I replaced the cartridge. Be careful with children though because the control can switch to very hot easily.

I had replaced this part before, but I had forgotten how incredibly wonderful it feels when the broken part has been replaced & you turn the faucet back on the first time! The installation was easy...I am a woman and was able to install it easily myself.
