I bought this because I was installing a disposal in my island where the builder had placed none. There was no wall switch with which to operate it and only one plug in place in which the dishwasher was plugged. this allowed me to have a disposal and a button without the need to hire an electrician. It came with 2 buttons, one Matt finish and one polished for you to choose from installed very quickly and easily. It plugs and mounts under the sink and operates smoothly and quietly with my new Moen Disposal! If you need a switch where there is none, this will do the job!
