We have problems as soon as we opened the box. First, we reviews parts lists and installation instructions when we get something that comes in many parts and needs to be installed. The problems are that we don’t have all the parts that the parts list and instruction video said we should. We called Moen and after a half-hour wait, we were politely told that they have decided not to include a couple of parts any more and that they haven’t updated the information online. The first part eliminated was a Hose Guide Nut that was supposed to prevent wear on the retractable hose. I hope they have reengineered the hose so that it really isn’t necessary. The second part missing was part of the screw kit that holds the handle on. They do not include a plug for this nice deep hole anymore so we can collect water and dirt down the hole as we use the faucet with our dirty wet hands.

I just installed a Koa faucet. Everything looks and feels good, and the installation was pretty simple. A big problem arose when I attached the spray wand to the hose -- I followed the instructions exactly, first hand tightening, then turning the threaded fitting another 1/8 turn. When I tried the faucet, it leaks at the point the hose attaches to the spray wand. There is a flexible joint in this connection, and the leak is coming from this flexible joint. It's not a big leak, so you might overlook it when you install the faucet. However, the result is that water will drip down the hose and into your sink cabinet, where it might grow mildew and attract insects. I shot video of my leak, and would be happy to put it on YouTube to share with Moen. It is now the evening and I will not be going out again tonight. But my goal is to return this faucet tomorrow and install something else. Beware of this potential leak in the Koa faucet... it's sneaky and may not be obvious at first.

Works great, easy install, but does not feel like the high quality faucets of "yesterday" year. Pretty much feels like it's made of plastic.

The spec sheet for this faucet says "metal with various finishes". Well, the head is plastic.

Happy with facet so far. Really like how the base swivels. Strong water spray. Nice looking.
