i've installed a couple of these and i don't know why moen is changing from their existing valves that work. you can't install these without a cartridge in a remodel. its a pain to scramble to get the finish so you have the cartridge you need so you can trun the water back on. there is a reason why i've always push to sell moen and this is going in the opposite direction. plus some of these trims have tiny little screws that you can't tighten all of the way or else they will mess up the function of turning the hanlde. go back to the moentrol design. or stick with the posi-temp.
