I started remodeling my entire house August of 2014. Finally moved in a few weeks ago and really started to use the master bath. What we noticed is no matter what you put in front of the stream of water, toothbrush, hands, etc., water gets everywhere. Water splashes all over the counter, mirror and ourselves. The faucet was professionally installed so we called the plumber. He said it was the design of the faucet. It’s a big disappointed because our other fixtures match the vanity faucet but I really don’t want to keep a washcloth on the counter to wipe up all of the water after every use. It will definitely have to be changed.

We loved the look of this and were willing to pay the higher pricetag for it he design. After being professionally installed , we noticed water would splash all over the counter if we put anything (hand, toothbrush, etc) in the stream. When I called Moen, they said they had never heard of the problem, but I now can see that one other person has written a similar review, so the splash must be an issue. At the end, We had to return the product and never received the correct amount of money back. Plus, now our faucets don't match our "handles" on the sink. Disappointment.

This is a great looking faucet and fits well in our small bathroom. Unfortunately water splashes all over the place. I installed it in an old wellworth pedestal sink that has a fairly deep basin. There is no mesh in the spout and the opening is oval shaped. Even if I put my toothbrush almost to the drain, many drops of water reach my clothes. Never had the problem with our old spout which was also a high arch but about a half inch shorter and round. Matches the new shower fixture and all the accessories so it is too expensive to replace. Might be okay with a very deep sink.
