It does a great job controlling the temperature, but will occasionally make a pronounced squealing noise while doing so! And we did have it installed by a licensed plumber!

Only issue, if you are ordering the hand held shower in this set be sure to purchase a separate valve and diverted otherwise you won't be able to install it. I overnighted all the items and then had to wait extra days because I was missing parts.
