Boulon de canne

The chrome colored cane bolt showed 2 small metal projections on the shaft. I assumed the black cane bolt would share this design. However, it did not. I will keep the black bolt, but I am disappointed.

We ordered 16 and received 12 not once, bit TWICE! Please check the order to be sure you are sending out exactly what the customer ordered.

I found it a bit difficult to install, maybe my fingers couldn't get angled properly but it seemed to take ages! Once installed however, it's quite right and operating like a dream. The cane bolt does a super job!

The black plated finish camouflages it a bit for added protection. It comes with the cane bolt, mounting hardware, and 4 tough screws. The instructions on the back help even the DIY novice install it properly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a couple of weeks ago and used it for keeping out gate closed. It worked wonderfully and was easy to install. We were very happy with sturdiness and how easy it is to use. Would recommend it for anyone that needs something to hold the gate closed.
