[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this latch for a storage shed gate in our backyard. The latch itself is made well and thick enough to hold up over time. It was a breeze to install and it worked exactly like we had hoped it would.

Can unlatch it with one finger and the the ability to padlock it is great. It is made out of Stainless Steel. So, I will not have to worry about issues for years and years. It will outlast my fence!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This MaxLatch Gate Latch made by National Hardware is perfect for our gate! I really like that it's made of stainless steel and compensating latch with floating bar that adjusts to compensate for over a 1/2 inch of gate sag. It was very easy to install, directions were easy to understand, and love the WeatherGuard protection for corrosion resistance and rust. It is designed for right or left hand applications as well. I love that it can be padlocked for added security, and I am extremely happy with this product, and think it is a high quality product I would highly recommend to others!

It was very easy to install. Really like the free floating latch. It is great for when things swell and shift in the spring and winter time here in the northeast US. Allows leeway for the latch to still close. Very high quality product. Extremely happy with it.
