Very nice door handle. I’ve had it for many years and it is still in good condition! Definitely recommend

First, let me tell you that the little "rosette" in the baggy all by itself in this handleset kit needs to be screwed apart. You can't pull the silver part out of it. Get a needle nose pliers and twist/unscrew the silver part out of the rosette. If I had not read this in a previous review we would still be trying to figure this out. No explanation how to do this in the install instructions. The silver part acts as a washer when screwing the lower part of the handleset from the inside door, and then you screw the rosette over the silver disc to cover the inside screw and hole. Okay, with this explanation, this handleset is heavy and well made. A great deal for the price. Love the look on our cabin's front door. We couldn't be happier with it. The instructions are difficult to follow, but if you have changed out any door handle of any kind you can do this. I am a 68 year old woman and I could install this handle so that means you can too.

The instructions were not helpful AT ALL. It looks good now that it is on, but you basically have to guess which screws to put where and how to even do it. I honestly would recommend buying a different one. Thats how frustrating it was to do!

Stupidest instructions ever! They didn't have any part including the decorative screw cover. They had information about a slightly different door handle which had a completely different way the deadbolt was held in place, and the template for a bit off (enough to force me to make a much wider hole in my door than necessary. Now with all that said, the door handle is very pretty. If you have put in door handles before, you can figure this one out as well. Once installed, it works exactly how it is suppose to. But it does scratch easily, so be careful there.

Looks really nice! Definitely the most stylish option I could find for this price. Installation was pretty self-evident if you're handy, the instructions could have been more clear (multiple different screws, for example, but no indication which you use when).
