Very easy to install and took no time at all. We replaced the original transformer from our house, which was built in the early 90s, with this one. No more buzzing sound and works great with our Ring door bell.

Looks great coming out of the box and looks as though it will fit in the pre-existing spot just perfectly. Comes with easy directions to install, but I’m surely waiting for my electrician to become available.

My previous doorbell was making a buzzing noise after we hooked our Ring camera up to it. After a search online, I figured out that the problem was that our old transformer did not have enough power to handle the video doorbell. This transformer appears to be made very well. It’s heavy and looks exactly like the one we had previously. My husband was able to find a video online of how to install this (it was very simple). Now we don’t hear that buzzing noise that our other transformer made!

The wired doorbell transformer was easy to install and works well. It has helped by boosting our signal with our installation of the Ring doorbell that has the motion sensor feature. I would recommend this doorbell transformer.
