Clean look. Good for the price!

I was generally not familiar with how doorbells work, so the idea that I could just install this in a standard wall outlet/gang junction box seemed like an easy replacement for my traditional doorbell that stopped working. WRONG! This unit requires that both the high voltage AND the low voltage wires are available in the junction box. Unless you have the ability to run the wires that connect to the outside doorbell button directly to the installation junction box, you’re out of luck. Yes, it shows that in the description & photos, but as an average DIY girl, I didn't get it "til I tried to install it. So, if it’s being installed in a new building or a remodel where you have control over the wiring, I guess it would work. As a replacement, no.

First i was sent a wrong item - a light instead of a doorbell. Once received the doorbell, it is one that has to be wired to the house not a low voltage as i expected. Also, it did not work with a different doorbell button. When i called , they said i had to use the generic one that came with the item. Spent a lot of time trying to make this work, but ultimately it didnt.

Pretty easy to install. The sound quality is good. The only thing that sucks as per the specs shared on Wayfair is that there is one a single chime sound that I personally find pretty annoying
