I bought this to match some of the original deco knobs and plates I have in my house. While it doesn't match exactly, it is close enough that you have to look hard to see the differences. I also replaced the existing door and with a pre-hung, pre-drilled door and was very grateful that this didn't require a complete new mortise setup. I was able to install the door knob easily and it looks great.

This was a perfect match to my older doors and door handles! If you are having a hard time matching older door handles try these! They come in different metals and glass handles.
