This is a very heavy, very solid knob, plate, and inner-door construction. It looks like the high-quality item that it is and gives a far more sophisticated look than the aging lever handle that used to be on the door. It's my way of sneaking a little Mission/Arts and Crafts detail into an otherwise modern mountain home.
