I purchased this Onex double bowl sink and a single bowl sink at the same time for a kitchen renovation. After inspecting them for dents and scratches, both were installed. The next morning, tiny brown rust marks with a few slightly larger ones obviously being rust were noticed. One drain basket was also defective and did not prevent water from draining. I contacted Wayfair immediately and was clear that both sinks had been installed, and arrangements were made that the double sink would be returned after receiving the new one so that I would not have to incur three plumber's costs. After several hours of communication with and misunderstandings by Wayfair reps, another sink was delivered - but the wrong size!
I immediately informed them, was told that the issue needed to be referred to a Resolution team and I would hear back within about 72 hours.
After hearing from the rep and more hours of communications, taking and uploading photographs, I was informed that they "see" the sink has been installed and an offer of a 20% discount was made!
I am extremely dissatisfied with the Onex sinks and Wayfair. The sinks are attractive in style and design, have very rough sides, leave water marks on the base and rim, and are obviously of inferior quality to start rusting within hours of use. I view Wayfair's offer on this obviously defective sink, an insult!
I am a designer, have worked on several new builds and renovations, have had sinks in my own home for decades at a time, and have never experienced anything like this - on product, warranty and customer service! All completely unacceptable!!!!!!!
