Product is well made and functions as it’s supposed to, but it is not black. it’s gray. I purchased it for my black and stainless sink and new kitchen. Ill keep it for now, will not purchase again.

Great strainer

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. The OXO 2-in-1 strainer and stopper is really convenient and easy to use. I like that it works as both a strainer and a stopper, so I don’t need multiple tools. It fits well, drains quickly, and feels sturdy. It’s simple but very practical and definitely useful to have in the kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good, but has two design flaws: 1. Have to stop water from running to empty it, otherwise?. . . Can't lift it up to empty the debris caught in the strainer because the rubber strainer inverts itself upwards and all the stuff that was caught spills back out all over the sink, defeating the purpose of using it in the first place. 2. It's tough to clean out the debris into the trash without at least lightly knocking on the edge of the stopper to dislodge the debris. Do that enough times and the rubber surround seal starts separating and falling of the metal part of the strainer.
