We installed this faucet 6 years ago, as part of a full reno. I was uncertain whether I was going to like the water flow of the open outlet design, but I loved it. The aesthetics were just what we were going for; it felt super solid; and we had no finish issues--I'm guessing your water chemicals and minerals affect whether you'd have an issue. We've had no functional issues, either. I love the faucet so much that it's probably going in a different bathroom reno!
