I was concerned that this bar might not handle as much weight as some others. I need not have worried! It is very sturdy and much more attractive than others that we were considering.

This is an unusual grab bar, in that is it effective, elegant and folds up to the wall when not needed or not in use. It is solid, not slippery under wet hands and very supportive, providing it is installed according to directions and on a wall stud. Much nicer aesthetic than the usual stainless hospital style ones.

Exactly what I needed. Very sturdy pristine workmanship.
