We like that this is a solid wood door and therefore makes a great sound barrier for adjacent rooms. We already had a door jam installed and we knew we needed this size door. We had to modify it slightly by sanding one long side so that it would close properly, but that is the way it always goes when installing doors into door jams.

This solid wood white three panel door is absolutely beautiful! However, I measured the door I was replacing and ordered the same size not realizing that it would come in and fit differently because we were buying it without the frame. We’ve now had the door for three weeks and are waiting for it to be professionally installed because the door is going to have to be shaved on the top and one side. It also doesn’t come with the holes bored into it for the door knobs and hinges so you either have to buy a kit online or at a home improvement store, and hope that you have the measurements correct for putting it up, or realize that you need to just have it professionally installed so that it looks nice.

This is a very solidly built door. It arrived in perfect condition and well packaged. We installed the door, it ran into one issue. Our builder was slightly off on the opening so we had to shave a small amount off the door. We did not realize this door you really should not shave down for size. Thankfully we made it work and it looks beautiful for our hall closet. We replaced all our doors in our home with solid core doors and this was the final one. Overall I have happy with the door and would purchase again.

This is a sturdy door! It’s SOLID wood. Not something you would get in a door kit. You have to install the knob and hinges yourself. You have to drill the holes etc. I don’t think the two hinges would support its weight. Definitely need three. But it will last forever! Not hollow!

The door arrived quickly and without any damage, as others had reported. It’s a nice quality, solid wood, white door that I expect will help soundproof the bedroom much better than our current door. I didn’t read the description fully and we’ll need to cut out a hole for the doorknob before it can be installed.
